Lama Wangchuk was given the title of “Choje Lama” by HH the 17th Karmapa. This is the very first time, someone from Thrangu Monastery has been conferred this very special title. In honor of the title given to Lama Wangchuk Topden, a program was held on the very auspicious day of Lhabab Dhuchen at Thrangu Tashi Yangtse Monastery. The Very Venerable Thrangu Rinpoche entitled him as his personal representative and also presented him the official letter given by HH the 17th Karmapa.
